  • Replace Your Complaints with Prayers

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.” —Philippians 4:6

There’s nothing wrong with praying about what you need. If you have a need, bring it to God. The Bible even says, “You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures” (James 4:3 NKJV).

But if God doesn’t come through as quickly as you want Him to, don’t falsely accuse Him.
Actually, I think it’s a good idea to write down the things the Lord has done for us because we can forget sometimes. That is what happened to the Israelites in the wilderness. They started complaining because they weren’t reflecting on all that God had done for them.

Just look, however, at what He did. He spared them in Egypt and didn’t allow the plagues to come upon them. He freed them from slavery, parted the Red Sea, and destroyed the Egyptian army. Then He led them step-by-step through the wilderness with the best GPS ever: fire at night and a cloud during the day. He fed them with manna.
    And they complained.

Now, think about what God has done for you as a follower of Jesus Christ (because He’s done a lot already). First, He saved you from Hell. He brought you out of darkness into His light. He forgave all your sins and filled you with the Holy Spirit.
Also, He’s provided for you, guided you, and protected you. He may have healed you physically. And He might have even performed a miracle in your life.

God did these things for you. So remember that the next time things aren’t making sense. Remember that the next time you’re tempted to say that God has abandoned you.
No, He hasn’t. The writer of Hebrews reminds us, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever” (13:8 NLT). He was with you yesterday, He is with you today, and He will be with you tomorrow.

    Have a great weekend

  • Bishop David Oyedepo To Parents: Your Greatest Legacy

Children will hear what you say and end up doing what you do. You will never need canes, if you have examples!

Train up a child in the way that he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. If you don’t train today, you are setting a trap for tomorrow.

Young people, you will soon be married. If you leave your home without direction, you are leading it to destruction. You don’t need to like to read, but you have to read to make success of academic career.

Have you ever seen a president of a nation with braided hair, a man? What you are into has place a limit to your destiny!

Your son is putting earings and you are laughing… What a kind of person!l, what an abuse to your integrity as a father!

You don’t know what being descent does, it opens impossible doors..

My son, hear the instruction of thy father and forsake not thy love of mother.
    We walk by common sense..
    We run by principles..
But we only fly by instructions

The reason we have so many bad eggs in the west, is because children are left loose by the laws of the land to do what they like. They marry cheap and divorse cheap. If you don’t train them, they will become a trash on the street.

If you have not instructed, they will never become high flyers… Instructions are the highways of distinction!

Your children can’t come home under your roof at 11pm and you can’t tell “where are you coming from?”

If you don’t teach the ways of God to your children, which is your greatest legacy.. you have lost them in their generation and they have lost their future..

    THE MYSTERY OF RESSURECTION

    Bible Text: 1 Corinthians 15:50-58

    RBT Passage: 1 Kings 6-7

‘For the perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.’ – (1 Corinthians 15: 53, NIV)

A Professor of Biology made it his custom to stand before his students holding up a little seed between his thumb and forefinger. He had spent his whole life studying the beginning of life, and he acknowledged to his students that it was still a mystery to him. He said: ‘I know exactly what this seed consists of in the exact proportions of water, carbon, and other elements. I can mix these individual elements and make a seed that will look exactly like this one. If I plant the seed that I have compounded, it will rot. The various elements I have put together will be absorbed by the ground. However, if I sow the seed that God made, it will spring up into a plant because it contains that mysterious element we call life.’ The physical resurrection of Christ is just as much a mystery. The life you now possess which causes your body to function and renew itself continually, and not collapse into a putrefying mass, is also a mystery.
He, therefore, who in the beginning created our present corruptible bodies, will also create a new incorruptible body which we shall carry in eternity. Let God’s Spirit rule your life here and you will be raised to enjoy an imperishable life in heaven.

Insight: The resurrection of Christ guarantees our own lives

Prayer: Lord, let the resurrection power bring to life everything the enemy has killed in me.

  • A Purposeful Life [Pastor Chris Oyakhilome]

Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work (John 4:34).

In Christianity, our lives have a meaning; there’s a purpose for your life. You’re not living for nothing. Jesus knew, and understood His purpose.

In John 17:4, He said, “I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.”

This ought to be your thinking as well; glorifying the Father should be your passion and purpose for living, and the way to glorify Him is to finish the work that He commits to your hands.

See : If only Men and Women knew this before going into Marriage

Have you discovered God’s purpose for your life? Do you know the specific purpose for your being? Are you at it? The purpose of the Father is the salvation of the whole world. That’s the reason He sent Jesus.

The Bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

The Bible says He’s not willing that any should perish but that all men should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9), and that’s our job. We’re His partners in soul winning.

    A Purposeful Life

God seeks to beautify the lives of those around you, and lead them into righteousness through you; that’s living for His glory; that’s a purposeful life.

You must influence your world positively and help those around you receive salvation through the power of God that works in you.

It doesn’t matter how fruitful or effective you might have been in other areas of your life, you must seek to excel in soul winning too.

You’re a co-labourer with the Lord (2 Corinthians 6:1) in taking the Gospel to the lost, hopeless, hurting, and downtrodden in your world, and in the regions beyond.

Remember, a successful life; one that pleases God, is that which achieves those things that God has called you to do, and He’s called you to be a soul winner, a minister of reconciliation.

That’s your purpose; bring him glory by being fervent and effectual in leading souls to Christ

  • The Mystery Of The Eyes [Apostle Joshua Selman]

Jesus was teaching and He said the eyes is the light of the body. He was not teaching parable. Jesus was teaching a powerful principle that the eyes, there is a mystery.

Seeing is only one of the functions and is simply because is all science told you. The eyes is a system of transporting reality through and from the realm of the Spirit that only your eyes can see.

There was no blind person that passed Jesus that was not healed, there were other cripple and He left them but He was violent on blindness. That’s why God healed every blind person He saw because, there is a relationship between your eyes and your destiny.

Paul became blinded by the Glory of God but God had to open his spiritual eyes to be seen first before the physical one open. Do you know why your eyes closes in the night when you sleep?

Brothers and sisters, there are secrets in this book(Bible), when you find it, your results are not just an issue of witch.

    This eyes you see…

Anything the eyes makes contact with consistently, it force your mind to begin to think on that reality. It is not the thinking about it, it is an incubation that start happening in the realm of the Spirit .

He told the man at the beautiful gate… “look at us steadfastly” and he looked at them and He (Jesus) said “now, you are seeing”

What was the requirements of Elisabeth receiving from Elijah? Was he not looking at him?

When Jesus was ascending, the Bible says they kept looking at him until the cloud received Him.

Could it be that the only thing you have been doing with your eyes is just to look around.

That’s why you don’t remember the faces of blind people because you can not see their eyes. That part that makes your face recognizable is your EYES!

  • What You Must Avoid If You Dont Want Broken Relationships/Marriages– Pastor Kingsley Okonkwo

Relationship are great, they are fun but there is a timing for a relationship (Broken Relationships/Marriages).

There is a time, when you are in a state of mind and in a frame of mind to be able to make a proper decision in relationships (Broken Relationships/Marriages).

When you rush into a relationship when you are too young, your priorities at that time are not very developed. Your sense of value not matured.

From our little interview or investigations, most young people that are not properly paying bills, what determines an attractive guy to a young girl is how handsome the guy looks, how tall is he?

Those are few of the things that will interest young girl. But if the girl is 29, the game has changed, she is not looking for just a fine boy, can he pay bills?

    Is he responsible?
    Does he have a job?

So if you choose when you are too young, you will end up choosing the wrong things. The things that tenage discuss is different from what matured people discuss,

Is just a phase of life that you should not be making permanent decisions! The only decision you should be making at that stage should be your life purpose…

Marriage is like choosing one channel and you are asked to choose one to watch for the rest of your life, if you choose that channel when you are under 10years, you are most likely choose cartoon network but by the time you turn to a teenager, you will no longer be interested in cartoon network.

So when you choose a partner when you are not matured, by the time you are above 25years, you will begin to have more direction in your life, at that time you are choosing something more relevant in your everyday life..

    That is how it works!

If you choose too early, you are likely to choose wrong. Make sure you are not too young, make sure you are mature and ready to make such a strong decision (Broken Relationships/Marriages).

Statistics have shown that marry or enter a relationship, they usually don’t last. That the older you are when you start a relationship, the better the decision.

From my experience, when I’ve spoken to people that made that decision too early, by the time they are 5years, 7years down the line.

They are thinking “I didn’t make the right decision” because their outlook on life has changed and they discovered they married from where they were, not where they are going….

  • If Only Men And Women Knew This Before Going Into Marriage {Dr Myles Munroe}

A female suppose to be a helper. In other words, a woman at the beginning was a woman who was designed by God and equipped by God to help a male fulfill the assignment that God put him in his life to do(Vision). A woman is not the one who comes to destroy what the man’s vision is. You don’t want to marry a woman who comes to tell you how to run your life. You don’t marry a man and detate on how he suppose to live. God said I will make for him a HELPER. Now a helper is not the one who runs the show. See, the reason marriages don’t work is because we get a monster, a monster is any creature with two heads. If Only Men And Women Knew This Before Going Into Marriage

A wise woman helps are husband archive..

A good woman studies her husband. She doesn’t irritate him, she doesn’t criticise him. What a real woman does, she keep asking him questions. She tries to find out what his dream is, what is vision is, what is desires are… her goal is to study him!

Sweetheart what are you going to do in the next 10years?

Honey, how do you see us developing our children?

Keep asking questions because you want to get what his vision are…

Most women come home.. “where have you been, what’s wrong with you, you are worse than my daddy”…That’s a stupid woman!

A woman from the beginning is a HELPER and you can’t help somebody who you do not know his assignment. Even if your husband is not the ideal man, you are suppose to help him become that. Maybe he doesn’t know the Bible like you, in devotions, you say to him “why can’t you find corinthians?”…. you are not helping the guy, you are demining his ego, you are destroying his pride.

The Bible says a woman build her house with her hands but tears it down with her mouth.

The Holy Spirit is called the very same thing a woman is called “paracleter” which means the one who comes along side to help. So, the Holy Spirit does not take over your life, He never does… He always comes to help you do what you are doing. That’s why is not a proper prayer for you to pray “Holy Spirit take over me” He wouldn’t do it, that is an insult to him. He wasn’t built to take over from people. If you do not plan, he has nothing to do. So, men make sure that the woman that come into your life , You have a plan for your life before she comes. If Only Men And Women Knew This Before Going Into Marriage.

    A woman comes loaded..

A woman comes with the equipment ready to help..

    She got intelligence..

    She got insight…

    She got wisdom…

    She got power..

    She got anointing…

    She got sensitivity..

And she comes into your life to help you, and if you ain’t do nothing, she can’t help you do nothing.

Some women comes into a men’s life and the men are doing something but she is so possess with her own importance that she believes that what she is doing is more important than what she meets him doing and now she want to tell him to forget what he is doing and tries to make him do what she is doing….stop it ladies!

Men, make sure you have a vision before you invite a woman into your life. And women, if you meet a man with a vision, don’t create two vision in the house. Submit your vision to his vision.

If a woman comes to a man with her own vision and doesn’t submit to the man’s vision, you got division that will lead to divorce.

We got these ideas: what is mine is mine and what is yours is your…that is division. A woman is a helper not a destroyer!

The woman is a producer. When the man cultivate, you produce…

When a man gives you superm, you produce a child..

When a man gives you a home, you produce a beautiful house to live in..

When a man gives you groceries, you produce a meal…

    YOU ARE A PRODUCER

Topic : DO NOT ROB GOD

    Bible Text: Malachi 3:7-12

    RBT Passage: 1 Samuel 19-21

‘Will a man rob God: Yet you rob me. But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’ ‘In tithes and offering’. Malachi 3:8

In recent times, the doctrine of giving (particularly tithing) came under serious scrutiny. Various opinions were expressed on the social media.

It is true that there are abuses in the way tithes and other offerings are being administered in some churches, but to condemn paying tithe will amount to throwing the baby away with the bath water.
From today’s passage, we need to note that:
    1. Tithing is part of God’s decrees which when the Israelites rejected made them suffer rejection as well (v. 7);
    2. God ordered them to return to Him by once again bringing their tithes (v . 7b, 10);
    3. God accused them of robbery because they were defaulting in tithes and offerings and a curse was the consequence (v . 8-9); and
    4. God dared them to test Him and see the blessings that will follow. God has never failed and He will not start now . Robbing God is like inviting wrath and damage to one’s life.
Do not be deceived and never base your judgment about God’s standard of doing things on public opinion but on God’s Word. Stop robbing God. Pay your tithes and offerings. Take away the curse and attract God’s blessings.Insight: ‘Giving in a regular, disciplined, generous way – up to and beyond the tithe – is simply good sense in view of the promises of God.’ – John Piper

Prayer: God, please forgive my indebtedness to you and help me to obey you.
