As the song’s name suggests, it is a hymn of thanksgiving, supporting the miracles of God he has witnessed and experiences, as well as the ways in which God has preserved and protected him from repeated attacks by the evil ones. He reiterates his commitment to God’s omnipotence in the hymn.
