Nigeria will continue their preparations for the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations with a friendly clash against Ghana in Casablanca on Saturday.
The match will take place at the Stade El Arbi Zaouli as Justine Madugu’s team intensify their final preparations for the tournament.
The defending champions opened camp in Morocco on Monday, with several key players already reporting to the team’s Hotel Marriott base, including captain Rasheedat Ajibade, goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie, Asisat Oshoala and Christy Ucheibe.
Nigeria will begin their WAFCON title defence against Malawi at the Al Madina Stadium in Rabat on August 28 before facing Zambia and Egypt in their remaining Group C fixtures.
The tournament will also serve as a qualifier for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup, with the top African teams earning qualification spots.
