Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Delta State election, has expressed confidence that he will emerge victorious, insisting that the poll will be won “fairly and squarely”.

Speaking in an interview, the veteran politician said the 2027 governorship race would be markedly different from previous elections in which he had participated, arguing that increased public awareness and voter vigilance would make electoral manipulation more difficult.
